The Clone Wars was a time of great conflict, pushing the Jedi Order into the role of military leaders rather than peacekeepers. Among those who shaped the Republic’s fight against the Separatists, Stass Allie and Yoda stood as key figures. Though one was the ancient Grand Master of the Jedi Order and the other a respected Jedi General, their paths were intertwined through their commitment to bring balance in the galaxy.
Yoda, portrayed by Frank Oz, was the wisest and most powerful Jedi of his era, guiding the Order for centuries. Stass Allie, played by Nina Fallon in Revenge of the Sith, was a skilled healer and warrior who carried out missions on the front lines. While their paths differed, they shared the same goal—to preserve peace in a galaxy falling into war.
A Bond Forged in the Jedi High Council

As members of the Jedi High Council, Yoda and Stass Allie worked closely in making critical decisions about the war. Yoda had served on the Council for centuries, guiding generations of Jedi and shaping the Order’s philosophy. Stass Allie joined the Council in the Clone Wars. She brought new ideas and worked well with the senior Masters.
During their time on the Council, they discussed important issues. These included the Sith’s rising power, the Republic’s dependence on the clone army, and the Jedi’s uncertain future. Yoda often warned of dangers, but Stass Allie acted. She led troops and offered medical support in battle zones.
Even though the Jedi were military commanders, Yoda and Stass Allie stayed true to their roles as protectors, not conquerors. They sought to resolve conflicts with as little loss as possible, embodying the ideals the Jedi Order had upheld for thousands of years.
Their Contributions to the Clone Wars
Yoda spent much time on Coruscant to keep the Jedi Order strong during the war. Still, he sometimes joined the battle. He is well-known for his battle on Geonosis. There, he led the Republic’s first clone army against Count Dooku’s forces. His presence alone could turn the tide of battle, not through brute force, but through strategy, mastery of the Force, and leadership.
Stass Allie, on the other hand, was frequently deployed to conflict zones across the galaxy. Her assignments included leading clone battalions. She also oversaw field hospitals and cared for wounded soldiers. She realized that winning wasn’t only about beating the enemy. It was also about keeping allies safe and boosting morale among Republic forces.
Yoda and Stass Allie were both present in major Jedi Council briefings, working to uncover the Sith’s influence within the Republic. They talked about Anakin Skywalker’s unpredictable nature and Chancellor Palpatine’s growing power. But like the rest of the Council, they didn’t see how much the Sith controlled—until it was too late.
The Fall of the Jedi and Their Fates

The turning point for the Jedi came with Order 66, the moment that changed the fate of the galaxy. Yoda, through his deep connection to the Force, sensed the betrayal before it reached him. While stationed on Kashyyyk, he reacted instantly, defending himself against the clone troopers sent to eliminate him. With the help of Chewbacca and Tarfful, he managed to escape, going into exile as the Jedi Order collapsed.
Stass Allie was not as lucky. While traveling with clone forces on Saleucami, she was ambushed and killed by her own troops. She never got the chance to defend herself. The speed of her execution showed the ruthlessness of the Empire’s takeover. Even Jedi Masters, no matter how skilled, had little chance against such betrayal.
While Yoda lived on to guide the next generation, Stass Allie became one of the many Jedi lost to Palpatine’s grand plan.
United in Legacy
Stass Allie and Yoda faced different fates, but they both loved the Jedi Order. One was the wise elder. The other was a devoted leader on the front lines. Yet, their purpose was always the same. Both fought for life. They sought peace, but they got caught in a war that was never theirs.
Yoda lived on to train Luke Skywalker, keeping the Jedi way alive. But Stass Allie’s sacrifice showed just how much the war hurt the Jedi. During the Clone Wars, they were more than just Jedi. They were guardians of a fading light who held onto hope until the end.
